Mediation

Commercial mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) used to resolve business disputes outside of court. It involves a neutral third-party mediator who facilitates confidential negotiations between the parties to help them reach a mutually acceptable settlement.

This process is particularly valued in commercial contexts for its speed, cost-effectiveness, flexibility, and ability to preserve business relationships. Mediation is commonly used in disputes involving contracts, partnerships, joint ventures, intellectual property, construction, finance, and international trade.

Commercial mediation is increasingly encouraged by courts and regulatory bodies as an efficient means of resolving disputes, reducing legal costs, and minimising business disruption.

We conduct mediations in English, both in person and online via established video conference platforms.
