Forum Chambers welcomes Áine Tyrrell and Kate Marlow

Welcome to our Third Six Pupils, Áine Tyrrell and Kate Marlow

Forum Chambers is delighted to welcome Áine Tyrrell and Kate Marlow as third six pupils.

Áine Tyrrell (call 2023) has a commercial and chancery practice with a focus on technology, international work and commercial litigation. She did her first pupillage at Monckton Chambers. Before that, she was a policy advisor on responsible AI and AI regulation at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. More recently she completed a placement in the Cabinet of Advocate General Biondi at the Court of Justice of the European Union. She co-wrote AI in Criminal Law (Bloomsbury, 2024) with Ben Douglas-Jones KC and holds a PhD from Stanford.

Kate Marlow (call 2024) practises in commercial and corporate disputes, insolvency and company law, and construction and property. During her first pupillage she appeared in the High Court on winding-up petitions and injunction applications. She also worked on derivative claims, unfair prejudice petitions and contractual disputes involving share purchase agreements. She came to the Bar from academia, with a PhD in Medieval History from Durham, and went on to teach Old Norse at UCL.

Both bring exceptional backgrounds to chambers. Áine’s expertise in technology and AI regulation complements Forum’s growing work in crypto and fintech, and Kate adds strength to our insolvency and commercial practice. We look forward to working with them both during their third six.
